As I get the pictures and pictures of the stuff, this is what is in my family from my Grandfathers days on the CB&Q Railroad, it's not much but means a lot to me.
Photo 1 of 1 in CB&Q stuff In my Family
CB&Q track gang out of Thomson IL
My Grandfather George Creighton (bottom left) and his track crew, date is not know but guessing in the early to mid 60s, he passed away in 1965.
I can probably come up with a couple other names here but not all of them we know who they are.
Larry Doub
Pictures to follow in the near future, one or so of his Railroad pay check stubs, His CB&Q Red Globe Lantern, and another lantern that my Aunt gave to me, not sure if their is anything else floating around our family or not, but I will find out.

Graham StokesGood stuff, Larry. Very special. I like the human story in railroading-has always fascinated me. A fault of too many rail photographers is to take photos that avoid the people that made the trains go, attended the passengers, maintained the track etc..... moreGood stuff, Larry. Very special.
