Well Gang, I went to the Worlds Greatist Hobby on Tour in Portland Or. this past weekend. This was my second time to attend the show and I can say its not the same show nit was in Sacramento in 2008. The normal company's were there with a couple of exceptions. Exatc Rail and NWSL were not there. This suprised me as they are closer to the show that some of the ones who were there. I am afraid this is turning into just another MRR show. Lots of them to go to but a show that has the company's that keep the hobby going are rare. Except for Athearn everyone else was great.
I just came back from the Train Show, boy did I score! Hahaha! I too $300 and spent $280. But, I bought a bunch of stuff. I got stuff for dirt cheap prices. I'll post pics later tonight!
Sure, model railroading is the world's greatest hobby... But can it be considered the greatest national past time?
