For those that are wondering it is a plant used to filter out the PCBs they dredged out of the Hudson River put there by GE . google Fort Edward, East st. find the canal and look to left that is the dewatering plant.
marty makarick: Not sure which # this is as there are 2 of these old Guilfords patched out now CPRail. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY GUILFORD SHELLS OR OLD GUILFORD LOCOS THEY WOULD LIKE TO DONATE OR SELL HO OR N-SCALE ?
Just wanted to say to all my TL friends. Sorry, I haven't seemed like I have been active on TL but, I have, just as a spectator. I just don't have any new info. going on. I dont have any place to set up my H/O scale still. I haven't done any rail fannin' in awhile(cost of fuel v. amount of paycheck). I do read some post, look at pics, and watch some vids. I am still here. I am just quiet.
check out some of my vids on my elev. I just painted mine a flat white and then dusted it with grey primer to get weathered look. not all grain elev. can afford to paint there's as the cost of painting is in the range of 10 of thousands of dollars.
Not much going on here in Trainlife.. Happy New Years regardless!!
Its been a long time since Ive been on here. The past year and a half has been full of ups and downs. My layout was destroyed by my ex wife in a fit of rage. Thousands of dollars were destroyed in seconds. Then my local hobby store went out of business. Life is good today. My divorce was finalized and ive met a wonderful beautiful young lady. I want to get back into the hobby now that things have settled down. I just need the motivation to start. I will be having to order my supplies or travel an hour away to the nearest hobby store. I hope everyone has been well. Any inspiration would be appreciated :)
