I never used to be this way until I got crammed into an apartment. So I am learning to utilize space/ throw out or give away unneeded junk, and collect useful recycled items. I love the barn board is that real or painted that way?

Al JudyMarty, the boards are cedar from the pick pile at Lowe's (in other words...their junk pile) Things like broken edges, split or bad spots none of which hurt my purpose of simulating barn boards. So I ... moreMarty, the boards are cedar from the pick pile at Lowe's (in other words...their junk pile) Things like broken edges, split or bad spots none of which hurt my purpose of simulating barn boards. The problem with real barn boards is bugs and dirt. So I roughed these up a bit and painted them brown, highlighted them with black and gray and them white washed them. I was happy with the results.
