W P 455 was built in February, 1 956 as part of series 426-460. It has a non-overhang ing roof, type 2 bay, type 1 a side sill, but the carbody was welded. P &LE 5 1 7 was built b y Morrison International in 1 960. It has a welded car body, non-overhanging d iagonal-panel root, type 1 a bay, and a type 1 a sill.
