The DC one will not move on dcc, the dcc one should. do you have all of your cv's programmed?

CV30=2-turn off the MRC system-turn it back on again. The power LED (Red) on the decoder should light but you should hear no sounds for 6 seconds. Then it should start the sounds. This means it took. It will run on address 3. Check to see that it runs on 3 then you can change the loco address. Tsunami's are notorious for doing this the first time. It has something to do with the way the software is loaded into the memory. Resetting a Tsunaim is now standard procedure when I intall one. less

Nothing wrong with the system. I just realized you bought this used. Set CV19 to 0. It could have been in a consist on a previous layout and the owner did not take it out of one before he sent it to you. Try that also.

sounds to me that it`s the decoder it could be fried or not put in right is the decoder cracked that can do that in shiping
