Union Pacific 6925 DD40AX Centennial Brass HO Factory Painted (Custom Painted for OMI by OMI - we consider that factory paint)(Overland 5407). I installed a QSI revolution sound decoder, with DD40 sound file downloaded. Front lights, back lights and beacon working. An extraordinary Korean Ajin custom painted by Overland brass model of this large EMD built diesel. The engine was built in 1969 as a special order and called the Centennial locomotive in honor of the 100th anniversary of the 1869 golden spike ceremony at Promontory Utah. At nearly 100 feet, the DD-40X was the longest and most powerful (6600 HP) diesel electric locomotive in the world. A fine runner the model is can motor powered and this engine can certainly pull any consist on your pike. This is a large engine and requires adequate radii – we would recommend over 35 inch radii. The model features interior cab detailing. The model is based on roster number 6918 and Overland chose to paint it 6925 that is appropriate. The model is tower drive powered with can motors, not the earlier tank drive run. The model features directional lighting and a flashing strobe on the roof - we see a crew as well. Wheel plating is intact. The model comes with original box and full foam.
