We're excited to announce that TrainLife.com takes pre-orders!

We can place pre-orders for items from all major manufactures if you would like to place a pre-order please read below and follow the instructions. If there are items from a 'closed' pre-order that you may have missed but would still like to secure please send us an e-mail as well. We always place overage orders and may be able to accommodate your pre-order even after a manufacturer has closed theirs.

Here's how to place a pre-order with TrainLife:

1. Send us an e-mail to pre-orders@TrainLife.com outlining the item(s) you would like. If you've ordered from us before we should just require the SKU or brand and some way to identify the product and we'll take care of the rest. If you've never placed an order on TrainLife. Please include all ordering contact info including: 

  • Your full name
  • mailing address
  • a contact phone number

2. To get your pre-order into our system we require a $5 security deposit per item (don't worry it's fully refundable if you change your mind). You will receive an e-mail (or several if the pre-orders are scheduled to arrive at different times) with a payment link that will summarize what the pre-order is for and how much the final cost will be for the item(s)

3. When your pre-ordered item(s) arrive at our warehouse we will e-mail an invoice with a secure link to pay for the remaining balance of your pre-order(s). Once paid they will be carefully packed and shipped to you!

Pre Order FAQ-

Q: Why did I get different payment e-mails for the items that I pre-ordered?

A: We try to break up each pre-order by the delivery estimate so that when these items come and we ship them to you we can close both your pre-order as well as your final fulfillment order (it's a tracking thing for us)

Q: Why is there a charge for my pre-order?

A: First off don't worry, When you are invoiced for the final amount of your item you will receive a discount for the pre-order charge. Otherwise there are several reasons for this, the short answer is that our system requires that there is some charge made to make an item an official order and be tracked.

Q: Can I combine pre-orders with in-stock items? 

A: No. Because these items will ship at a later date we require that pre-orders are separate from in stock items

Q: What if I need to cancel a Pre-Order?

A: Darn, we're sorry that's the case and we hope everything is ok (it's never good news when you need to slow your model purchases). No matter the reason if you need to cancel a pre-order that's no problem. Contact Us and we'll cancel and refund you your pre-order deposit. No Questions Asked.
